Co-host, What's On The Playlist
Chris started Cutmaster Music because he kept going to events that were fine. Competent. Forgettable. He wanted to build the opposite — a company where the entertainment is the part people talk about on the drive home.
He builds every night around the couple's vision, then looks for the moment they didn't see coming. The song that pulls the grandparents up. The transition nobody noticed but everybody felt.
He also co-hosts What's On The Playlist, the wedding industry podcast, which mostly means he thinks about this stuff more than is strictly healthy.

Couples who worked with Chris
“I can't recommend Chris and Cutmaster Music highly enough. As far as I'm concerned they are the top DJ company in the region.”
“Chris definitely set our dance floor on fire. He did the music for our ceremony and it was perfect.”

Not a wedding set — just how Chris builds a room.
Good to know
Does Chris DJ weddings himself, or just run the company?
Chris still DJs weddings personally throughout the year. He's a working lead DJ, not only the owner — though his calendar fills earlier than most, so popular dates go quickly.
How long has Chris been DJing?
Chris has been DJing professionally for over 20 years, and founded Cutmaster Music to raise the standard for entertainment at Albuquerque events.
What does Chris bring that's different?
He built the company around the belief that a reception should feel designed rather than defaulted. In practice that means more planning conversation up front and more willingness to change the plan in the moment.
