  • Pro DJ Tip: Microphone Technique for your toasts
EAT THE MIC! This is the best advice I can give when telling you how to properly hold the microphone. Put it as close to your mouth as you can and keep it there. Do not hold it like a rapper, do not hold it down at your waist, and do not move it all over the place. And DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT EVER drop the microphone. That is a super expensive (our was just over $700) piece of gear that you don’t want to be paying for because one of your guests decided to have a “cool” moment. Nothing is cool about losing a microphone and possibly blowing out the speakers for your event. Don’t do it! Photo cred to Alicia Lucia Photography Please give me feedback on social @cutmasterchris. Which bullet above is your favorite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions? Let me know! Just send a tweet to @cutmasterchris and put #weddingtiptuesday at the end so I can find it.   Have a wonderful week, all!   Chris
