5 things to ponder about your wedding day

Hi All! #WeddingTipsTuesdays is your newsletter of 5 tips, hacks, tricks and helpful tidbits to help your wedding planning. If there’s anything you would like for us to tackle, please let me know. Enjoy this week’s hacks and thoughts!

  • Make sure to do background research on your venue and other vendors

I can’t say that this hasn’t happened before in Albuquerque and has the potential to happen again. Wedding venues going out of business and leaving couples scrambling on their wedding day. I’m not sure how this affects Noah’s wedding space in Albuquerque, but this is a franchise that looks to be in trouble. This is a lesson for all couples though. Make sure your venue is not in any sort of financial instability by checking reviews, researching them online, and asking your vendor pros about the space. We’ve seen a few wedding franchises recently fall into bankruptcy and suddenly shut down. Don’t get blindsided by bad businesses.

  • Let’s discuss #hashtags

Hashtags are one of the most trendy elements you can do for your wedding and we love a great wedding hashtag. Here’s some hashtag tips for you!

  • Have you contemplated how you will track your own wedding on social?

Your wedding is THE EVENT of the year and all your friends and family are going to be talking about it, posting about it, and documenting it for you starting with the engagement, all the way until your honeymoon. How can you collect all the posts and the pictures? Use a Facebook Aggregator! This article shows you how to use one and why you want to set it up as early on as you can.

  • We’re contemplating creepy wedding vibes

This post is for pure wedding humor and fun. Check out these totally creepy and weird wedding photos. Who knows… maybe you’ll find some sort of inspiration from them.

  • What we’re going to watch

On September 30th, TLC is airing their annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Challenge where dress makers compete to create a wedding gown and headpiece using only tape, glue, thread and toilet paper. Tune in and get some creative inspiration.
